I feel the need to update

So bad news everybody we all knew it was coming, but somehow every year it comes up and surprises me. Over the past week my ears were assaulted by their first christmas song. And I hate to sound like a broken record of every comic in the past 10 years, but what happened to Thanksgiving. I mean it is honestly my favorite holiday, I don't need presents I only need food and football. And still Thanksgiving gets no respect. Why this really bothers me though is because I absolutly hate christmas songs, it is the worst genre of music on the planet. Now I am not saying I don't enjoy the occasional christmas song but the market is so inundated with it that a good 97% is crap, steaming stinking piles of crap.
